"Upon arrival to check in we weren't informed that there was a wedding taking place that day at the hotel. Our room no 205 a family room was situated above the wedding reception venue. From about 9pm sat night the noise was noticeable from the wedding and then from 10.30pm till after midnight there were rowdy loud guests in the corridor and adjacent rooms which kept myself ,my partner and our daughter awake. We had gone away for the night for Charlotte birthday hoping to unwind and relax but this...

"For us this was the perfect place to explore family heritage in a beautiful area of Scotland. We enjoyed hiking on or near the property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were always very helpful, our meals and drinks in onsite restaurants were great! We are very positive about this hotel!!!"

"This hotel had the feel of an old 1980s hotel that had been poorly maintained over the years by the owners. The room was clean but on our second morning we weren't able to have a shower because the shower didn't work. The tap water was also like an oven while the beds were like rocks. Despite promising wi-fi this too was non-existent.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok but during our stay there was always a feeling of what was going to go wrong next."

"Need to put more staff on at 3 when a lot of people are checking in.
The young guy on reception yesterday was amazing and a credit to the hotel but the poor guy really could have done with managerial support to check people in quicker"

"The hotel is in a lovely spot, and the breakfast was really fresh, and lots of choice. The hotel itself definitely needs upgrading. It felt tired.
The rooms were also tired, clean enough, the bathroom had no lock on door and shower pressure was terrible. It was OK, bug dont think id stay again. Pitlochry itself is always fab, and really worth a visit."
