"Fantastic staff! Bedroom was big and roomy, clean, well decorated and all amenities included. Only negative is that there is no parking but we were aware of that and there is a public car park literally a 100 yards away. A special mention to the breakfast staff who were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend and would stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Royal. The staff were really helpful and efficient. The food was excellent and really good value for money. We ate here for two nights as it was very good. The rooms were clean and we had a lovely view of the river and the shops were close by so a nice location. You could park so everything worked well. Thankyou to everyone who works here for a very nice break. We appreciated our time there."

"Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home."
