There were nicks, holes, cracks and patched spots all over the walls, the sink and tub were rusted and dusty, and the mattress sagged. To add to my annoyance there were two raging lunatics arguing on what had to be bullhorns, since I could hear their every word as if they were right outside my window at 3 AM (I was on the 5th floor!).
