"Lovely vibe"

"Our concierge Shannon was very helpful and very welcoming to a first time visitor to Amsterdam."

"I really liked this hotel. Its location, staff, breakfast, and daily wine and cheese were excellent. The only problem that I found with this property was that it doesn’t have a ramp for carrying your luggage. Or if you have a physical problem, it would be difficult to take the stairs to go to the concierge to check in!"

"Good location for conference and did what it needed to. Very large rooms and had nice big windows with view of canal. I will say gave me twin beds that kept moving. Bathroom could be modernised and wish it had a bar."

"Great breakfast, very friendly staff . The decor wasn’t very relaxing!"

"Great location, spacious room, nice modern bathroom, comfortable bed but side tables and wardrobe very cheaply built,"

"I've been staying at the Conservatorium regularly for 12 years now, and it is remarkably consistent: great location, awesome people, striking architecture, and the best gym of all the 5-star hotels in Amsterdam. This year, though, there was one welcome change and one not-so-great one: the breakfast has improved, with the addition of a buffet, which is convenient. But they also seem to have started letting local residents use the gym, so it's now super-packed at all hours, and you have to wait...

"we paid an exorbitant rate for the room and it did not even include a breakfast. bar staff came across as grumpy and were slow. the Heineken draft beer was off and we found out two days later that there was an issue with the refrigeration that was kept secret. expensive as well. the front counter people were friendly yet were unable to provide a text or email when our room was available"

"I loved this hotel for so many reasons!! It’s really close to museums, it’s in a nice neighborhood, I loved the restaurant and the food was so good!! The room always very very clean!! Everyone very nice if I’d be able to come back to Amsterdam I will love to stay here again."

"The hotel is beautiful. Beds are comfy, room was spacious for the price, shower was amazing. The only thing I'd caution over, is make sure you are staying with someome you're comfortable with. The doors to the bathroom are nearly see through."

"I love that the property is modern, clean and in close proximity to everything. Museums, Coffeeshops, Bars and Restaurants and best of the lot, the trams run through the square where the hotel is located. The staff were super amazing! Special mention to Maryna, Nada, Nina, Alexandros, Imanuel and Regina for making our stay exceptional."
