"Considering the price, the apartment was ok. There is an air fryer, kettle and toaster. Washing up is a challenge in the small sink in the bathroom. Filling the kettle is difficult as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom! The bed was ok, but you can feel the springs. The TV didn't work as the aerial lead was damaged. The hair drier was dangerous as it was full of dust and smelt of burning. The views over the bay were spectacular. Ok for a couple of nights, no longer though."

The code to get in will not work until check in time though… it’s automated, we were about 10mins early and it didn’t open the door. A cleaner let us put our things inside. "If you are planning to go to Blackpool as a tourist, and you have a good idea of what Blackpool is like, the Ruskin is a good, moderately priced 3 star hotel. The clientele is lively and appeared to be mostly retirees, though there was a sprinkling of younger visitors. Food service is efficient and speedy ... obviously organized enough to handle groups. The staff we met were pleasant, friendly and efficient."
