"We stayed at The Fleece for a couple of nights. Our welcome as a pleasant professional one, despite the bar and restaurant being busy. Our room and the linen was very clean, and although quite warm, there was a fan provided that did the trick. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was good, and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. Lovely beer garden/ courtyard to enjoy a relaxing beer. "There was only one aspect to fault, and that was the breakfast. It's a buffet style so the cooked food was in heated containers. Therein lies the problem, the chunks of fried potatoes we not really cooked enough and only warm, the bacon had been sitting there to long and was tough, the knives supplied were not sharp enough to cut it up, it had to be torn apart. Having the Lemon Tree restaurant on site is also great; we had a special celebration there - food and choice was great.
