"Area close to shopping and close to the port"

"We booked 2 rooms for our family. One of the room when we used the shower the tub was pitch back and the water was leaking onto the tile and then we noticed it was on the carpet outside the bathroom door. When we told reception, they stated they knew of the issue and gave us towels to place on the carpet. The second issue in the same room was that the AC was not cooling the room. Also the room was not clean well when we entered and the carpets were old and smell in both rooms. After complaining...

"We stayed here before leaving for a cruise. Due to late flights and lost luggage we were not able to enjoy the beach or pool. Booking through Expedia does not include beach access according to the passive aggressive note left in our room. The breakfast was serviceable, better than most hotel breakfast in the US but not nearly as nice as most European hotel breakfast. It was a pleasant stay though and we would visit again."

"This is an easy one. Hands-down one of my best stays in an B&B. The host was absolutely the nicest guy I’ve dealt with. So accommodating so helpful. Helped me with my luggage and was not just nice, he was human and kind. It’s only a five minute walk away from the shops and beach. Cute little coffee shop across the street where you can get your breakfast that’s included and might I add the coffee is delicious and so are the pastries! I definitely recommend! Perfect stay!"

"The restaurant was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel provides beach chairs, gel shoes and towels for a cost at the cement platform because of the rocks. The surrounding area outside the hotel is run down, no fault of the property. It is pretty inaccessible. Train was a nearby commuter, with no room for luggage, and the desk told us only one taxi for the town. Cost $200+ for a driver to take you to the airport from here. It might be better to rent a car and pay to park...

"Very old well maintained hotel. Does show its age but is a historic building still being used. Breakfast is good. Staff very helpful."

"Nice quiet area that's close to the beach. What I did not appreciate was the additional cost such as pool towels and also they require you to wear a swim cap (for extra charge). Rooms were just okay. Beds were not comfortable. Rooms were clean but old, in need of renos for sure. Walls were scuffed, definitely need painting. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly."

"Convenient one night stopover for a cruise. Quiet location and some lovely restaurants 3 minutes walk around the corner. A stocked kitchen for breakfast ( cereal, milk, various breads, jams, drinks, cakes) made things so easy for a quick departure. Our Host Irwin was so friendly and explained everything well in English. 8 minutes walk downhill to the cruise shuttle bus center made boarding the ship easy too. Highly recommended!"

"The Hotel Triano is very well situated to the cruise port. It is a short drive and you can get the hotel shuttle for a small fee, which is great. The staff are very friendly and the bar "never closes". It has an elevator so those who can't use stairs, shouldn't be afraid t book this hotel. It was a good experience."
