Top Bodai Hotel Reviews

Hotel Kajikaso

Hotel Kajikaso

8/10 Good
"This place was great for the most part. It’s definitely a bit on the older side of things, but with that comes a particular charm. The room was amazing. Spacious, with its own gorgeous Onsen. No real air condition controls other that an analog “low, mid, high” toggle. The beds were very firm, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. The included kaiseki meals were spectacular. If you’re looking for a bread, eggs, bacon type breakfast this is not a place for you. If you want to experience the traditional Japanese meals, I couldn’t have been more pleased. In addition, there is a fantastic room service menu after 4pm. The common areas are well maintained. The public onsens are pristine. Location is amazing. The service was impeccable, as one expects from Japan. Everyone was kind, helpful, and respectful. The biggest issue I had was the smell of the hallway outside our room (3rd floor). It had a constant smell of food. It was a little overwhelming, but did not carry into the room. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for People looking for a traditional Hakone Onsen experience. I do believe the hotel could highly benefit from a remodel. It has the potential of being absolutely spectacular."

Frequently asked questions

Can I find holiday rentals in Bodai?

Yes, we give you a choice of holiday rentals where you'll be only 14.1 mi (22.7 km) from Hakone Kowakien Yunessun, giving you a more remote option if you want a quiet place to stay.

What’s there to see and do in Bodai?

Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Hakone Kowakien Yunessun, or get out into nature at a spot like Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park. Gotemba Premium Outlets and Oyamaafuri Shrine are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.

What’s a holiday rental in Bodai like?

Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Bodai. Holiday rentals feature extras such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll feel right at home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and busy concierge desks while still allowing you a great travel experience. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental a great choice for family trips or small group gatherings.
