"We flew from Denver, CO and we had an amazing honeymoon experience at Sea Diamond. The staff were always very friendly and always had a smile on there faces! The only thing that I would change is the type of dinner being served. Not that we did not enjoy, but the types of foods were not our favorite. The curry, lasagna, and risotto were ones that we loved the most! The cocktails and drinks are literally the best drinks I have ever had and that was amazing. Overall, top notch experience and the...

The Oberoi, Mauritius

Balaclava

10/10 Excellent

We went for knowing we wanted a lazy holiday. Our aim was to spend as much time on a sun lounger as possible and I think we managed pretty well. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are SO helpful and we possible the best massages in the Spa we've ever had. We explored the 2 towns close to the resort; Port Louis seemed to be more of a day time excursion, the markets are great and its def worth a visit, but beware of getting hassled (its pretty much the opposite of been in the hotel). A really gorgeous resort based in the North of the island. I went with my partner for a romantic holiday and it was lovely place to relax and unwind. The team can't do enough for you and really looked after us. Make sure you pay for the All Inclusive package as it's well worth it - aside from the buffet, all restaurants are Ala Carte and although not everything is included without a supplement, we found there was enough to choose from. We particularly enjoyed Kumin which is an Indian restaurant...

Seapoint Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

My family and I spent 12 nights here in April 2016 and from the moment we arrived to when we sadly had to leave I knew I had made a great choice to spend a memorable holiday. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in rooms 204 and 207, both were first floor rooms and they were very comfortable and spacious adopting a modern open plan layout. The bed was great, bedding etc excellent and air con was effective. The shower was one of the best I've experienced...

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights in December. Excellent service and a great place to relax and have a break. Their top priority is your comfort and the staff are extremely polite and professional and do everything they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. They do not say no to anything you ask for!! One of the best places I have stayed at and certainly a place I would recommend to family and friends. Its a bit far out from everywhere so if you want to explore the surroundings...

Ocean V Hotel

Grand-Baie

10/10 Excellent

The hotel itself is worth visiting Maurice for. I had the best hotel experience in my life at Ocean V. The hotel staff are so very nice and so attentive. Their service is better than the one of a 5 stars hotel. Everyone is there to make your stay memorable. They are very client-centric. They can arrange any tours or activities on the island for you. The rooms are very spacious and very neat. The hotel is new. So everything is in pristine conditions. The hotel has a 24h guard and security....

My husband and I went to Mauritius in our honey moon and stayed at the hotel. The staff was great, they were very helpful and kind, our room was very spacious, beautiful and clean, the view from our room was stunning facing the sea front and a garden. Since, we are vegan we thought there wouldn't be many options for food, but in the hotel they made sure to please us with any food we would come up with, the food in general was delicious and even the chef Dennis spoke to us to always give us...

The Good Life Mauritius

Cap Malheureux

10/10 Excellent

We had a lovely day Good Life ego Lodge. This is a small boutique hotel in a quiet area of Cap Malhereux. It is within two minutes walk of the red roof church Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice. We use the buses to travel along the north coast and visited all the beautiful beaches. The bus stop is only a few minutes away. The rooms are quite compact, but it was big enough for us. The pool was quite small, but we did not use it as there are such beautiful beaches close by. Antoine was a wonderful host. I...
