Very pleasant stay in great location
Perfect location right at the River in the center of a small town. River tours, restaurants, aquarium and sightseeing to Drachenfels all within a few minutes walking. Very friendly service. Furniture rather dated and walls a bit dinged up.Wonderful breakfast buffet.

Great location but the hotel could use some updating. The room was clean, which is my main concern when in a hotel room. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and I like a firm mattress. This was like sleeping on a wood floor.
Breakfast is ok, staff is friendly. Location is fantastic - right on the Rhine and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Ruime kamers, alleen erg onpersoonlijk. Ontbijt was in orde. Voldoende keuze.
The location is quaint and right on the river. It’s close to bars and has a nice walking trail along the waterfront. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Try to arrive before 8pm, otherwise an international call is needed for your room key. Furniture is dated but room is clean and comfortable. Value well worth it and your stay includes a decent continental breakfast.

Mooie ligging

It was supposed to be a comfort room with a view of the river and all we could see was the trees across the street blocking the river. The furnishings in the room we’re very dated. The hallways were sprayed with some sort of disinfectant. The breakfast was mediocre. Certainly not a three star hotel!! We would never go back there.
Pros: The location was nice, very close to Drachenfelsbahn (the rack railway train used to access to Schloss Drachenburg and Drachenfels). The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great.
Cons: The staff wasn't terribly friendly. The parking was inconvenient, I ended up having to park offsite in an unattended lot. The hotel charges for parking (which I expected), but the rate isn't published anywhere. If I remember correctly, it was 10 euro per night. Also, the hotel's garage only has a few spaces and only for compact cars, information that I couldn't find anywhere online beforehand. The decor in the lobby is odd and not really cohesive from room to room. There is an extra city tax that has to be paid on top of the room rate. It would have been nice if this tax was included in my Hotels.com charge.
I'd still recommend this hotel, but parking information should be clarified online for potential hotel guests.
Begrenzte Anzahl an Stellplätzen in hoteleigener Tiefgarage.
