"Lovely hotel with incredible views over the sea, very nice pool, good location with restaurants etc nearby and a 15 mins walk to the main part of Puerto de la Cruz (a bit steep on the way back). Plenty of parking within 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast is good, only negative is that the lifts are quite slow. "

"Excellent location, excellent staff. The breakfast was great and it's a really beautiful place. The rooms couldn't probably do with a slight facelift but it's part of the charm and they're clean, which matters more. I had to switch rooms a few nights in because there was a major leak in the bathroom, these things happen. More importantly, the staff were so helpful and ensured my replacement room had an equally good view. The balcony rooms are 100% worth it. I had such a good time staying here and I've stayed at 5 different hotels in the area. It has a traditional feel, it's family run and there's so much history."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Atlantic El Tope and overall had a pleasant experience, especially considering the price and location. The hotel is set slightly uphill, which means you get beautiful views over Puerto de la Cruz and even the ocean from certain rooms and the pool area. The walk back up can be a bit tiring, but taxis are cheap and quick if needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a bit dated in terms of decor. Housekeeping was consistent, and I appreciated the balcony space—it really adds to the experience, especially in the evenings. The pool area was one of the highlights. It’s spacious, never felt overcrowded, and offers great views. There’s also a bar nearby, which makes it easy to relax during the day. Food was decent but not exceptional. Breakfast had a good variety, but dinners could feel repetitive after a few days. If you’re staying longer, I’d recommend exploring local restaurants in town for more variety and authentic Canarian food. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always willing to assist with directions or general questions. Tips for future travellers: * Request a room with a sea view—it’s worth it. * Be prepared for the uphill walk back to the hotel. * Mix hotel dining with local restaurants for a better food experience. * Great base if you plan to explore northern Tenerife rather than just stay in a resort. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a relaxed stay with great views and good value for money"

"The property is in the ideal location with everything you could possibly want in a hotel. Gym, pool, hydrotherapy, spa, bar, restaurant. Absolutely wonderful stay. I will stay here when I come back. "

"Being a solo traveller I would highly recommend this Beutiful hotel everytime being 100% honest ! Staff communication is top notch ! Many bilingual especially where needed at reception . The rooms are perfectly designed / set out & very high standards of cleanliness, through out the whole premises inside & out ! Members of staff at reception that stands out so far after a weeks stay is Killien sorry if I’ve spelt wrongly . He is only a young member of staff . His top skills for the Hotel / hospitality businesses are as follows - all round in general top Professionalism , no language barrier , listening skills perfect , Friendliness & reception duties - really clued up . So a big thank you to all the friendly staff at the Eden vacacional parque at Puerto de la Cruz. By the way the food especially breakfast is magnificent! No criticism through out only positives. You won’t be disappointed booking your holiday here!"

"Amazing breakfast and dinner. Spotless! You can feel the hotel had its splendid times in the past with all good quality finishings of the room and jetted bath. The resort has many things for a family holiday including tennis court, small but good gym, kids club, big pool for families and all the entertainments for kids as well. I have to say it’s my first time seeing staff cleaning a plant leaf by leaf! The furnitures are old but they are spotless! The staff love their job and they do a good job as well! We had issue with one room and got a new room without any issue. My boy was sick and they gave kettle free of charge, which is usually 5 euros otherwise. The only thing that worth mentioning but deff not the hotel’s fault is that the location in on the cooler place of Tenerife. If you want to go to sea activities like scuba diving etc, you will need to drive just move 1hr to the other side, the sunny side of Tenerife. To us, we drive around 2:30hrs a day. For a week, it builds up, but we don’t really mind. Preferring staying in a quiet place!"
