"This hotel is in a great location, between the ease of making the reservation, gentle and professional staff. We needed rooms quickly to get to a function in Scottsdale. The hotel staff made this quick and painless. We were able to relax at the pool. And get a great dinner recommendation from hotel staff. If you’re looking for great staff. Reasonably priced, great atmosphere lodging. This is the hotel for you. Sincerely enjoyed."

"Sonesta Suites Scottsdale Gainey Ranch is a beautiful, clean, and well-kept property. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The only thing to note is that we visited during spring break, so the hotel was quite busy with many kids around. If you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing stay, this may not be the best choice during that time of year. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel."

"Dated decor. The tv and remote control in my room did not work, even after the manager changed the cord. The room also had a stale odour. The location met my needs for the work conference I attended, but it wouldn't be somewhere I'd go to stay while on vacation."

"Since our plane was delayed we called ahead to notify that we would be checking in very late after midnight. Night clerk very helpful and accommodating, he even helped us find a parking spot. Housekeeping only cleaned our room 2 days out of 5 after we requested fresh towels and garbage emptied. Breakfast was average, some items cold because people left the lids open but could be heated in the available microwave. Nice having coffee available 24 hours and lemonade and cookies during the day. Pool...

"When we arrived we were put in a room that smelled very musty, had stained carpet and the bathroom mirror was damaged with black streaks. We called the front desk immediately and they said for an upgrade of $40 we can move you. We were paying $500 already. Once we moved the room was clean and comfortable. I was looking for luxury and this was not it. It was a comfortable stay but not what I was thinking. "
