"The problems 1 having paid extra for room with a view of the harbour this was completely destroyed by the view if the adjacent flat roof broken tiles and multiple AC units. 2. No Ac unit in this room Windows that effectively didn’t open ( 1/4 in only) Late afternoon sun And someone had left the heated towel rail on Also a winter weight 10.5 tog quilt on the bed. No sheets So obviously the room never cooled down. Having 3 noisy fans was just an indication if problems and were of minimal help"

"The room was very clean but the shower had an ingrained floor, a broken tile on the shower step and broken grouting around skirting. The steam room hinges were so rusty that I was surprised they still held the door on and the jacuzzi was mostly peeled paint would not have liked to use it. "Lovely hotel and great staff. Reception is always super helpful and accommodating. We have visited the Hotel several times and always feel well looked after."

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."
