"The problem wasn't the property - they were excellent. It was Expedia taking my money and failing to book the property - half hour phone call required to get this sorted out. The hotel, god love them, upgraded us to a suite to apologise for *Expedia's* error."

"The hotel is looking very tired.
Shortage of sockets in the room for charging electronic devices.
Service was good but not amazing.
Ate at Farmer Butcher Chef and was disappointed with the quality of the food.
Overall given the prices they charge at the hotel and restaurant it was not great.
Chosen for the convenience of being on site for the Goodwood event we attended but we would likely not stay there again."

"Reception very rude and un welcoming
When hubby just asked if the room had already been paid (we weren't sure) he was very rudely told 'no you pay now'.
Didnt inform us we needed to register the car amd were then told we'll be fined £100.
Had no signal on the phone and needed to ring a taxi, asked if it was possible for them to ring for one and was very rudely told 'no do it yourself'.
Really spoilt the stay. Never, ever known such rudeness to be honest and ive worked in a prison!
