"Great location, very friendly, helpful staff. Had a great 2 night stay here for my daughter's wedding. Had dinner in pub and joined in quiz and won! Good continental breakfast included, which I hadn't realised. Our twin room was good, but it was very hot as the bathroom towel rail was boiling constantly, so heated the whole room up and as in attic, it was already hot, so we couldn't sleep. We asked on 2nd day for them to turn it off as it needed pliers, but it didn't get done. But I am sure it...

"Recently refurbished in an attractive rural style the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. No air conditioning but a remote controlled Dyson fan was provided. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine but could have done with some fresh fruit on the buffet table. However, when asked we were brought some pineapple which was good. The tables in the bar/restaurant were nicely laid out for dinner with proper napkins! "VERY poor hotel, arrived late (11:30pm) after a long drawn out journey and for some reason had to wait 30 minutes to check in, no queues just poor service (and a printer that wouldn’t print - really?). Got to the room to find it was a dirty room uncleaned from the previous occupant. Waited an age again to get a new room which was freezing and in the noisiest part of the hotel. Had to request a heater to make the room habitable - it didn't work. The hotel rooms are just shabby. Not a great...
