"Wonderful historic property with warm and thoughtful staff. Even though some areas in the lobby were being refurbished, we still enjoyed the experience. Look forward to returning when the huge fireplace in the lobby is back up and operational."

"The room was fine, the staff was horrible. I stayed one night for work, I needed to extend my stay and waiting at the front desk from 7:15 until almost 8:30 and no one showed up. I called the hotel and of course when I called I was standing at the front desk and the phone rang right in front of me. I have to go back to Rutland VT for work again and I will not be staying there"

"Clean, quiet, comfortable, close to the mountain. Generally excellent.
Room for improvement: The room was way too hot. The radiator could not be turned off. I confirmed this with the staff member who was there. The solution was to open the window, which is no problem when you're awake, but impossible to control when you're (trying) to sleep. I've stayed here two other times, didn't have this problem. For the owner, if you're interested: Room 23. Made the room very uncomfortable, and difficult to sleep in."

"I genuinely enjoyed my stay from the beautiful atrium with a koi pond to enjoy a cocktail or your complimentary buffet breakfast.
The indoor pool & hot tub was very pleasant.
There is also a massage chair free to use.
Its very conveniently located just off the highway & surrounded by anything you could possibly need for food, shopping & great walking/hiking to beautiful falls nearby.
The staff was very knowledgeable & helpful with all my needs.

"The Mountain Inn was very nice. A perfect type of place you're looking to stay if coming to Killington for a ski trip! A very short distance to the base of Killington Ski. Nice breakfast included in rate. Restaurant on site had very good food! Heated pool was a hit for my child. Would definitely recommend!"
