"We found all staff so friendly and helpful. Entering the hotel gave a feeling of relaxation comfort and homely. Variety of food choices giving tasty evening meals and breakfast although I thought it too much to charge an extra £10 each for a fried breakfast whereas other hotels it’s included in the room cost. Our room was very comfortable with a superb shower"

"Charged for the use of the mini bar even though we didnt take anything.
Small holes in bed linen upon arrival.
Relaxation room, the paintwork was terrible.
Slow service all round.Service charge to room is 12.5 percent, slightly inflated for something that shouldnt exist.
However nice big bed, attentive staff in main diner.Hydro pool nice touch although children not allowed.Lovely breakfast and main meal.Pools were excellent.
I would not stay here again considered this is a four star hotel.I...

"If traveling with a child, you can not use the pool between 10am and 4pm which we found highly restrictive.
If you plan to use the sauna steam etc, we did not read the entire website in full which apparently tells you that the spa facilities are an additional £30 per person per day!
Thankfully there was an understanding spa manager who reconsidered this cost for us."
