"Room was ok carpets were stained (blood even) - bedding and linens have to be 20+ years old - just replace and add some fresh paint - replace carpet with some flooring !"

"Parking lot well lit. The sink did not drain very well so left standing water for a few minutes. The air conditioning was not working, but they brought a large fan when we called and asked for one."

"We stayed in a king suite facing the harbour. The view was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The entire space was immaculate. We appreciated the extra information provided on check in. MSS proximity to restaurants, shopping, and the ferry terminal made it easy to leave our car at home. Would highly recommend this property."

"I actually feel sorry for the girls that work at the desk here. This building is so poorly maintained that the lampshades were literally crumbling into dust in my room. The cigarette burns the animal odors, this is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my life and I have stayed in a lot of places that were not good. When they moved me into the second room. In the morning we went down to breakfast, the biscuits were really hard, and I don't think the sausage patties were actual meat.UGH! We wanted to go swimming but couldn't find the pool so we asked at the desk where the swimming pool was? They told us that they had to remove it!...

"I’ve stayed here before. This time on 3rd floor the traffic was louder than when I was on 2nd floor. Oyster Bay is sweet and convenient to the highway. I like the feeling of an older property that is still cared for, family owned."

"I never felt comfortable here. It’s the kind of place where dudes stand on the railing outside their room and smoke and play music. The exterior needs work and updates. The room was sufficient and clean but I kept waiting for bedbugs and roaches (only the latter appeared). There were dogs outside and barking by 6:45 am. It was cheap and convenient for one night, but I wouldn’t go back. The parking lot was FULL by the end of the day so I guess it’s well received enough to fill up. Your call!"
