"The property is beautiful once you find it. My Google maps was having a bit of a hard time. The car climb to the entrance of the hotel is...interesting. The restaurant offers basic fare, hamburgers, tacos and such. It was nice not to have to go out for dinner if you didn't want to. Some of the restaurant staff was not very attentive but the food was good. Running out of butter for the toast at breakfast was a little hard to understand. Overall a nice stay."

"Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. Don’t think this error in landmarks is the fault of Tico Tico though, but the reason for my 3 stars on...

"The room had a beautiful view of the ocean, as did the pool and restaurant. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and there were lots of monkeys that came to say hello (from a distance). Our only issue was the shower flooding the bathroom the first day so just be conscious of water usage.
