"The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The room was clean but there were mould patches in the corner of the shower (just tired looking).
The restaurant was good but a bit slow.
Absolutely beautiful views and lovely spa!!"
"We stayed at Harbour Hotel in Padstow and ate in the restaurant two nights during our stay. Then the same for Harbour Hotel in Salcombe. if you’re looking for a food experience then Padstow wins hands down. I would rate the food in Salcombe as good but Padstow is another level or two up; perhaps it’s the Rick Stein effect………"
"Initial meeting at reception was very jolly and helpful. Our room wasn't too far away, but getting a parking space nearby was nigh on impossible. Signage to say you're allowed to drop-off/pick-up would have been appreciated.
There was two conferences going on when we arrived, about an hour before the official key collection time, so we had a look around at the facilities, which was what you'd expect with a spa/pool etc.
My husband booked to play golf, but gave up after 9 holes as unfortunately people were not playing to the standard he is used to. It was exceptionally busy, maybe too overcrowded.
We had some food in the bar/café. It was simple fare, not a huge choice, but enough hot and cold items at a price on par with other places.
The room itself was near to the reception area. One bedroom with a pull out sofa (very heavy!) and a wet room, at my request. You had to walk through the bedroom to get to the toilet, so not great being interrupted. The cooker was temperamental - I couldn't get the thermostat to work for the oven, no basic instructions for the function dial. No dishes/bowls for microwave use. Not enough baking equipment (one metal tray, one Pyrex dish, three saucepans and a frying pan. Just enough cutlery for the number of occupiers. Same with bowls, plates, cups and glasses.
In summary, we had stayed there because of a new golf course for my husband to try and the nearest accommodation to a wedding we were attending."
"Property was clean and presentable with parking clearly marked. Shame about lack of EV charging. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming.
The room light, airy with windows that open! Very clean and the bed comfortable. Would have liked bottled water, good job I brought some with me. Good choice of breakfast with the hot choice freshly cooked.
Hoping to go back to use the leisure facilities."
