"I like what the property is trying to do, but some updates are needed. The staff was very friendly. The name implies a resort, but the upkeep is not there. The indoor pool had peeling paint, the outdoor pool was dirty and locked. The restaurant was closed. The shower was dirty and the toilet was having trouble flushing. "The check in process was very frustrating. I booked through Expedia and wasn’t able to access my reservations through their online booking portal. A lodge TV at gas rooms dates in the 70s should probably have staff to check in if they can’t keep up with the technology"

"The rooms are very clean. I had no problem with any of that. We went downstairs and told the manager that the bathroom sink was not draining and he said he would take care of it and he did we got back from where we had gone for the day it was working. We had our breakfast between eight and 11 is they said it would parking was good. We had a great time nice people to deal with."

"Stanford House was listed on Expedia as 9.0 Wonderful. I disagree. I saw photos that had rooms with white bed covers. I didn't expect something so different on a busy weekend in Manchester. However, even though the room was clean and seemed more recently painted, it was disappointing. I am not a dog owner, and the bed covers with large dog designs were shocking.
