"This motel 6 is exactly what you pay for. It’s definitely for saving a buck—thin bed sheets and messy landowner special in the rooms being paint and stain jobs, etc. that being said, it had good space and decent location for a 1/4th of the price of hotels in downtown Chicago. We came for a wedding. The property is gated in which gives a safer feel especially in leaving your cars and they don’t enter the rooms during your stay unless requested so you’ll have privacy."

"The reviews online do not coincide with what I found. Jeff were nice and the rooms were clean. However, the hotel is very old. They have tried to do small update which have helped. Yet, the carpet in the hallway need to be replaced and specially the carpet in the stair well were completely soiled. The curtain inside the room did not close all the way and light from the parking lot came in all night. "I love the accommodations and how close it was to the airport and the shuttle schedule. The fitness room equipment was simple but effective. The breakfast was good. However, I did not like the traffic sounds I could hear at night."

"The good: very reasonable price, we felt safe enough, it was convenient to Midway Airport (15 minutes by car, straight up Cicero), and there are lots of food options nearby. The bad: the room was full of dark hairs, long and short, all over (our family is all blond, no chance it was us). The chairs had long strips of fabric hanging from them. "This is really nice accommodations. I would say that it’s not especially conducive to tourists as it’s more of a condo situation. No maid service during the stay, one complimentary set of towels and coffee, then you’re on your own. Asked for towels and coffee. Got 4 towels (no hand towels or washcloths) thrown on a chair and 4 k-cups of decaf coffee left on a counter far away from the coffee maker.
