"The room was spotless and very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. The continental breakfast was ok but could have been fresher (croussant and pastries a bit dry)."

"The hotel’s public rooms maintain a faded charm of times long gone, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, well equipped and functional.
The setting overlooking the coast could not be bettered - and enjoying it whilst tucking into an excellent buffet breakfast was great.
We will definitely return."

"We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined.
Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated!
My advice..Go somewhere else. "

"Lovely old world charm pub with attentive staff and excellent food especially freshly prepared to order breakfast! Rooms are clean and functional - ideally located and easy access to Studland and Swanage! "

"A clean quiet hotel in a good location about 15 minutes walk along the promenade from the centre of Swanage. Staff are very helpful. Serves breakfast and dinner and has a spa in the basement and pleasant beer garden right above the beach. The parking is very limited and the only other downside is that the bed is one of the least comfortable (/older?) that I have slept in."
