"I loved the complimentary drink upon arrival and breakfast next day. It was very nice."

"Property was very clean and smooth check in process"

"The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. We definitely look forward to staying here again once we are in Tobago. "

"#1. There is no front gate to secure the property. #2. The reception office is not facing the front of the property and it is very hard to find it. #3. The room only have one key and if you lose it they will charge you $150.00US. Insane. #4. The room have no closet and hangers. #5. The faucet in the Bathroom is loose and move when you turn it on. #6. The Bathroom needs an exaust fan because it fogs up and stays very humid. #7. The breakfast is white bread, eggs ahd vienna sausages (not local)...

"This place was super isolated and very nice! Quiet and worth the money"

"This property is 5 mins walk from the airport. Shops all within 2/3 mins walk. Breakfast is insane. Choice and amount and variety is excellent. Twin beds, iron, microwave fridge freezer shower tv and air conditioning. Kay the host is on hand to give you all the local information. 30 mins walk to beaches or local taxi available. Bar 10 mins away and easy transportation to town."

"The only reason this review for Magdalena Grand Beach &Resort is rated with 1 start is because there were no options to rate it as ZERO. A few facts: (1) Upon my arrival I had to move to 3 rooms before one was acceptable. First one horrible smell etc: 2nd one nasty toilet, 3-4 channels on TV only etc. (2) 2nd day, came back from beach and room had no hot water, not Tv, no internet etc. (3) Morning of 3rd day sent text to Manager, no response until I called about after 4PM and was informed...

"Areas for improvement: 1) Staff to be better trained in customer service and hospitality. 2) More variety of drinks under the all inclusive option. 3) Quality of foods in the Lunch & dinner options needs to be better."

"I can’t say enough good things about this place! The room/shared spaces were in good condition, the price per night is very reasonable, and the host Andrew was so kind and friendly! Definitely consider booking here, especially if you are a solo traveler and/or on a budget like I was"
