"Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip. "Well run hotel, excellant staff and services. Bed was perfect, TV was full service, our room had nice views. Good parking garage. They have what must be best restaurant in town, liver, kidneys, plus all standard fare. Wine sampling. Restaurant service was top top with class!"

"Excellent location and beautiful hotel. We were there during the heat wave and there’s no AC. It was probably 80 degrees in our room. The staff was very nice to give us an extra table fan but it was still very hot until 4 am when it cooled off outside. We opened all of the windows and propped the front door. It was cooler in the hallway than our room. I would still stay there again, we might just buy our own fans next time."

"We hebben een dubbel gevoel overgehouden aan dit hotel. Op authenticiteit, uniekheid, quirkiness scoort het hoog. De sfeer van begin 1900 is heel goed bewaard gebleven en er is een evenwicht gezocht naar moderne gemakken met behoud van de sfeer van toen. Hou je van een heel bijzonder gebouw van begin 20e eeuw, dan is dit je hotel! Maar het evenwicht vonden we niet overal aanwezig. De kamers bij de theaterzaal lijken er een beetje bij te hangen en de inrichting vonden we een beetje...

"This is a very nice hotel. We were lucky to get a room with AC and grateful for that given the heat! The breakfast is nice though not as extensive as some other places we stayed in Germany. Overall a great stay and very conveniently located to see all the beautiful sights! I would def recommend it."

"The property was quaint and right in the heart of the beautiful town. My husband and our two children (17&18) enjoyed the stay very much. Mike was very hospitable and he made sure we were well taken care of. Breakfast was great and everything was very clean. We will definitely stay here again!"
