"Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. "Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel is in the most beautiful setting and after a day trip around Liverpool we had a leisurely swim in the indoor pool a light meal which we thoroughly enjoyed and a restful nights sleep. The only negative was we didnt stay another night to explore the walks around the hotel which was very scenic, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend. "
