"Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise in dem Hotel. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb der Stadt. Die Ausstattung etwas älter aber alles sauber und bequem. Sehr hellhörig aber für eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung. Pool und Aussenbereich haben wir nicht genutzt, sieht aber gut gepflegt aus. Preise in der Bar i.O. Ganz tolles Frühstücksbuffet!!"

"Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended."

"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the...

"Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were amazing with a wonderful view and a very comfortable bed.
Getting the bus was no problem stopped right outside the hotel, there was also a courtesy bus into Luganda where you can get a boat around the lake stopping at villages on route.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel."

"We had a quick overnight at this hotel and it was clean and comfy. We liked that we could connect to the TV easily to airplay off our phone to watch a movie. Definitely call the hotel to get on the shuttle because we tried to take the general bus from the station and it was very confusing and not sure if we hopped on the wrong one or what happened because the closest stop was still a 10min walk to the hotel in what felt like kind of a sketch area and no sidewalk. We made sure to take the shuttle...

"Great place to stay very central close to everything including train I did not give it a five star because the rooms are not sound proof you could hear everything including conversations and noise coming from the street. It can be annoying if you are trying to get a good nights sleep. Otherwise the property is a good one."
