"Walking distance to the bay and town was really good, 10-15 minute flat walk. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The parking on site was a great help. Rooms were a good size, clean and nicely maintained. The toilet was very low! The lift was a problem as it would not go down to ground floor unless someone was on the ground floor wanting to go up."

"Excellent hotel with professional staff.
Clean, spacious and well designed. Breakfast waiters are hard working and friendly. However the breakfast buffet is not up to standard. No decent bread after 8:45am, hot buffet dry and crisp. Not good.
Still my favourite Cardiff hotel."

"Extremely disappointing experience at the Angel Hotel Cardiff. What should have been an enjoyable stay has turned into an absolute nightmare.
We have been completely blocked in the hotel car park due to a rugby match, with no prior warning or communication from the hotel about the situation. The communication from staff has been absolutely shocking, with little to no explanation of what is happening or when we might be able to get our vehicle out.
As a result, we have been forced to pay for a...

"This property was a bit different with nice quirky rooms. Not huge but well arranged and comfy. The staff were exceptionally good, very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was not too vast but had everything I like. We especially enjoyed the filter coffee which we prefer to the machines. The honesty lounge with tea, coffee and various other delights was a great idea and well used. A great overnight stay for us."

"Me, my mum and my teenage daughter stayed for one night and we really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable, very spacious and clean for two of us in a twin. There is no elevator, so they changed our room straight away to being on a lower floor for my mum. The front desk has someone there 24 hours which was great as we could come and go whenever and didnt need to worry about coming back late after the theatre. The earlier check in...
