"We were here to view the xterra triathlon. This is a tiny town but the accommodation was excellent with a nice staff and excellent breakfast and meal options. Sadly it was quite wet and rainy while there so we did not get to be out as much as we would have liked. Having this place as a refuge was welcome. "

The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! "This property is under renovation and very early in the morning they were running heavy equipment directly outside our second floor window and renovating the room directly above us using hammers and heavy equipment. I sent an email to the management to suggest that they not rent this room until the renovations were complete in the room above but never got a reply."

"The hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind. The location is not far from both the train station and the downtown (almost middle of the slope between the station and the downtown). The breakfast was not gorgeous but sufficiently good for me. Only the problem was no AC. The room was quite hot during my stay."

"Excellent welcome from receptionist/waitress. Clean room with all basic needs met for an overnght stay with good bed and pillows. Well lit room. Some noise from next room. Poor choice in restaurant. No dishes of the day and no entrecote at 7 pm, which was the only appealing dish. Snall portion of sausage with 2 boiled potatoes and slice of ham with chips very overpriced, as was the wine.Very disappointed.. Breakfast selection also poor value at €14,50. Very safe large car park.. Convenient...
