"City24 exceeded our expectations! The view of the airport is amazing. The spacious patio provided the view of the airport. I love the exclusivity and privacy of the space. We had a great time! We stayed to attend a conference in the convention center for 3 nights. Living room, kitchen and bedroom has ample space and up-to-date appliances and furniture. Pricing is affordable compared to the downtown hotels. You will love it here."

The hostel was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with a nice social atmosphere. The location is excellent, close to downtown, public transport, and many attractions. "The rooms were very clean, and the staff customer service was excellent. We only stayed one night, so there was not much of a chance to use all amenities; however there is a coffee bar that sells starbuck drinks located on the same level as the hotel lobby, and a Kneads bakery where they serve gluten free options"

"The hotel was booked with the name Sentenel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, apparently it was sold and name changed to the Margot Gaslamp Quarter. Caused a lot of confusion, especially when using GPS to locate the hotel. I finally just went in and that is when I was told there was a name change after recently being bought by the Hilton. Should jave a sign which stated formerly the Sentenel, there were 2 calls during my check in where the caller had same issue. When looking on the website it said...

"The room we had was on the freeway side and the noise can be heard inside the room with the windows completely shut day and night. Not a good thing for a light sleeper like me. Also the parking entrance and connectors from level to the next level is so narrow that I was very close to scraping the walls several times with a medium sized sedan. On a positive note, the location is great."

The staff was wonderful, I had a corner room with a partial City/ Bay/pool View and it was beautiful 😍 The continental buffet Breakfast was great with the different choices they had. The roof top bar was good vibes. & the hotel is literally walking distance to just about anything."

"Baseboards were dusty when we first got the room. We stayed for 7 days, the view from our room was fantastic. Unfortunately only 1 elevator was working which was a hassle because we were on the top floor."

My partner and I both got the beau-rito and we literally can’t stop talking about it lol. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Everything is so close by and we used the trolleys and everything was just perfectly at a good distance from the hotel. 10/10"
