"Excellent room in every respect -- comfort, cleanliness, quiet, spaciousness, big, recently renovated bathroom. Hotel staff are simply fantastic and went out of their way to assure our comfort. Very good continental breakfast served on a big tray directly to our room every day at no extra charge. Outdoor jacuzzi and big swimming pool are filled with hot mineral water from hotel's own well. Both indoor and outdoor facilities and furnishings are all in superb condition. Unbeatable value for money....

"We are so glad we chose The Bergson for our stay in Calistoga, so near the action of the hot springs and restaurants. The establishment is a quaint country inn, thoroughly modernized and comfortable. We felt away from it all in our private room. The staff even heated up our space ahead of our arrival so that when we came in out of the rain, we felt welcome. And they delivered our chosen breakfast to our door in the morning! We will return soon!"

"Im afraid to leave an excellent review. Every time i leave one for a hotel, the next time i want to book a room, it's more than doubled in price and i have to look elsewhere. But I'll be honest, I'm already thinking about when i can plan another visit. The location is Perfect! The gentleman at the front desk was Amazing. The room and amenities were wonderful. The hot springs pool was so relaxing. Our stay exceeded our expectations "

"We loved this little inn! It’s in a perfect location which makes for an easy walk to all the restaurants on Lincoln. The room we stayed in (St Helena) was the perfect size and had a huge jacuzzi bathtub, which we used one of the nights we stayed. Unfortunately, the bathroom was freezing cold because of the attic door being inside and there is no proper shower in the room so that was one negative. The walls are also paper thin due to it being a very old house so that wasn’t great but we were...

"What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....
