"This hotel was built in 1970 or so. One of the buildings faces the ocean and that is where our room was. I am grateful that the person I spoke to months ago honored our request to be moved to a balcony room rather than a patio room downstairs.
The room itself was on the small side with not much counter space. But it did have a fridge and a microwave and in room coffee service. The king bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The most amazing feature is the balcony that faces the Atlantic. The beach starts just a few feet from the building. The floor of the room was pretty dirty. The bathroom was reasonably clean and the shower worked well.
From the parking lot there are 10 or so steps up to the patio rooms and another 14 to the balcony rooms. So just be aware that you will have to tote your bags up and down two flights of stairs to stay in the upstairs beach rooms.
The breakfast is not very good. A little fruit. A little cereal. Mostly bread products- bagels, toast, waffle maker. One morning there were freezer breakfast sandwiches- like Jimmy Dean. The coffee was pretty good.
The location of this Hotel is its biggest asset. Three miles to Wright Brothers. Gas, groceries, lots of restaurants all close by. We would stay here again if our knees hold up."
