"This place was awesome! Staff was helpful and super chill. Vibes were immaculate here. Tents were clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were also well maintained, even though the mirrors in the bathrooms were NOT designed for short people XD To those looking to book, please note this place is completely off grid. It sits along a well maintained dirt road, and there is no electricity in the tents, bathrooms, etc. It wasn't a problem, just something to note. I wouldn't consider...

"We really liked the location and the cabin was really nice. The website made it look like the property was next to the lake but there was a road in between. The other small issue is that it distinctly stated there was a coffee pot in the room but we didn’t find one. The store was very nice and pretty well stocked and it was a pleasure talking with people who ran the place."

"I had stayed at The Preserve several years ago and loved it. I'm not sure what has changed since I last stayed there but it has gone downhill. The room had a funky odor and needed a good deep cleaning and a new shower curtain without mold on the bottom. Multiple light bulbs were burned out. The smoke/carbon monoxide detector had been REMOVED which is not a comforting feeling and I'm pretty sure illegal."

"This condo was wonderful! The couch was big and comfy with enough room for everyone. The towels were fluffy and plentiful. The area is stunning. "

"We loved having a comfortable private space with no immediate neighbors and an empty, treefilled lot next door. The kitchen was well supplied with basics and loved having laundry facilities. Unfortunately, internet went down part of our time there, shower is not great, outside trash bin is takes two people to open (bear proof), and the steps up to the outer doors do not have safety rails. Recommend the Slippery Otter for a meal or two, but there are no restaurants really within quick walking...
