"The staff were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and spotless. Bathroom even had heating. Breakfast was included and there was a great choice. Serene location but a few minutes to the centro storico of Montalcino. Would recommend this accommodation to anybody visiting Tuscany."

"Beautiful hotel. Great food. Nice staff. Beware of the location…. We arrived by train and was forced to get transportation to the hotel which cost us 200 euros. The hotel is 45 minutes from the train station and it is a ghost town. There are no taxis available at the train station. Make your arrangements before arrival. "

"Beautiful place close to Montalacino with a nightly shuttle which helps you to avoid driving after dark. The rooms are updated but perfectly holding their place in history. The staff was as genuinely helpful as I have ever seen in my 60 years of travel. "

"Very clean modern rooms, designed in a minimal but tasteful way. Salvia room was spacious with a private patio, loved all the amenities and complimentary kitchen treats. Saturnalia wine bar downstairs did a great dinner for us, and loved exploring the surrounding area."

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...
