"I can not recommend this spot enough- first of all, every staff member is so warm and congenial. The room is beautiful, and the complimentary breakfast is table service (mind blowing to my American standards!). Being right in the Cathedral grounds puts you in the midst of everything but yet in a nice quiet oasis. Would come back just to stay here again."

"A great location in Canterbury. Right next to the cathedral.
Clean, well organised room. Full room service each day.
Lovely breakfast. Cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants and toast and jam.
Bottled water available for guests to take for day trips etc. Great for the hot weather.
Staff were very helpful, polite and professional.
Highly recommend"

"Room was freezing cold, no heating on, kettle didn't work. They did offer to change our room but other room was also unheated. As check in is 2pm.We checked in at 4.40pm 14th Feb, room was icy cold. Hot water was temperamental. Room should have bern warm & water hot, Hubby had cold shower i gave that a miss.should be heated by then"

"The room was clean and comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay in Dover on our way to a cruise. Alex was so helpful and kind to weary travelers just off of a long flight from America. The coffee shop he recommended was awesome and so welcoming - they thought we would become regulars but unfortunately we had to leave Dover. Thank you again, Alex and best of luck with your beautiful hotel!!!!"
