"Road to.. It was a great ride on the dirt road to Santajuana alongside palm tree trimmers, cattle, motorbikes, and the required 4-wheel momentum to make it up into the hill. Clean woodsy classy designed room with comfortable bed in the screen sided cabin, plus 270 degree view on the deck, while we appreciated the rain soundtrack and viewed fog, haze & gorgeous sunsets meant a new level of peace, bookended with hikes to and dips in waterfalls. "What a fun place to stay! It was GLAMPING at it's finest. Comfy bed with nice linens, nice bathroom and shower area - - although it would be nice to have better/stronger/brighter lighting in all areas. (but, that might have been by design as this is an ecolodge.). We enjoyed comfortable seating on the deck of the unit overlooking the valley. The sound of rushing water was nice to fall asleep to. The gathering area / cafeteria was well stocked with WIFI, music, views, tables and chairs...

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy.
