"This is gem in the middle of the mountains. The hotel is beautiful beyond words, the staff is excellent the food delicious. We had an amazing stay and will come back for sure. For me as a wildlife photographer, this was Paradise."

"Although this place is very basic, with essebtially no electricity or service and we werent able to complete the second half pf our rafting due to heavy rains, wr loved this place. It was exactly what we expected. We stayed two nights, and brought snacks and just took in nature. The two waterfalls we were taken to were awesome,. Especially day 2. So many beautiful bird's. Bring a Headlamp, bug spray and a deck of cards or a book!"

"A true gem in the middle of the cloud forest.
Super friendly people and great dinner options at a superb price. Juan and his sons are doing a great job.
Cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a quiet place in the cloud forest.
Some great activities close by: Quetzal watching your, coffee tour, a few local waterfalls and also 1 hour drive away the great trails of Savegre Hotel "

"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"
