"Booking & check-in was smooth. Our manager gave us excellent information and recommendations. The staff was friendly, attentive & flexible, breakfast was fresh & tasty, bed was comfortable. "We reserved a room at this location, however we were switched to ZenZaru same ownership. At KiKaru the grounds were not maintained and the pool was unusable/not clean. When we arrived at ZenZaru the location was very inconvenient. You had to go down approximately 100 steps to get to the rooms. There is no reception area, no rest area/lounge. The room was recently finished but not complete. The bathroom/shower was large and comfortable, however the extreme hot water was not adjustable and poor...

If you want to sleep immersed in the sounds of jungle, with a steam running along the property, this is the place! We have traveled the whole of Costa Rica now; this is our favorite place so far! "Jessica the owner was so helpful and amazing customer service. The place is wonderful and infinity pool was great. She also advised us places to visit which were really helpful. Jessica was always there when you need her. Plenty of food for breakfast which is served near the pool and astonishing view over the mountains, valleys , forest and even the sea!!!!!! Highly recommend this place..... "

"Beautiful property, nice pool, air conditioning, access to fridge and kitchen. The wifi signal was very weak, tiny bathroom too small to get dressed in was a problem staying with three people. The hotel listing doesn't match the actual hotel. The hotel is located down a long rocky dirt road. It's a 15 or 20 minute walk to get food in the heat unless you have a car or take an uber. It would be nice to have access to food closer but mainly as a traveler without phone service in Costa Rica I needed...
