If you are traveling with teenagers, this layout is fantastic—our teenage boys absolutely loved having their own space up in the little loft area. The villa itself is beautiful, and we especially loved having two private patios to relax on. The property is stunning—a true little paradise tucked away right off a busy La Fortuna street, giving you the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful...

"Kaluma Villas was beyond our expectations. We were able to check in early and very easily. All instructions from the host were clear and easy. The volcano views from the pool are amazing. Everything was absolutely clean and we had any appliance needed to make meals, easily getting food from the local markets. We look forward to returning with friends and family! Highly recommend this fabulous resort."

"Property is fantastic beautiful views and view of small waterfall. Walk around property and enjoy the nature, river, waterfall. Property manager on site was super friendly and helpful. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! "

"The staff was all around fantastic and hospitable. The place was as clean as could be. I did not like finding clean towels sitting on top of dead bugs. The garden, pool, and small trail were absolutely gorgeous!!!! It was a nice view to wake up to."

"Omg 10/10. I had a blast staying here. The hot tub came in handy after going hiking. I went during the wet season so the volcano was covered by clouds but I’m sure during the dry seasoning the view is beautiful. Everything was well-kept. The villa itself was nice and elevated inside. Would stay here again. The villa is very nice but it’s also fairly new so there’s a dirt road that leads to it, so when you uber or are using a shuttle make sure to advise them to come to the end of the dirt road....
