"Absolutely fantastic hotel, we stayed 2 nights in the newly opened Chapel rooms - the rooms are spacious, has beautiful decor and aircon. We had dinner at both restaurants and the service was very friendly. The Meerendal Hotel is definitely worth a visit."

"Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful. The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again."

"This hotel room is very long/narrow, have to walk sideways to get from the bed to the restroom. The flatscreen TV sticks out in between 2 beds so if not careful, you will bump into the TV box since you already have to walk sideways. The room is clean, the bathroom counter has ample space. The hotel does provide for small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. There is no phone in the room, but didn’t detract from the room. Especially when we needed to get our son’s stitches removed, they helped us with find a doctor and making an appointment and guided us well. Keep up the service. "Can't say enough about this remodeled hotel. The staff were just amazing and friendly from the maid staff, restaurant workers, bellmen, and the reception desk team. Our room was very quiet even though it was right along the canal. The breakfast options were great from continental, to hot/cold buffet, to order ala carte. The location is easy and safe to get to the main wharf with 2 different walking options (1 included no stairs) that take 10-20 minutes depending on where you want to go. Parking...
