Stunning!

Stunning, as always! The perfect place to stay for your Cape Town adventure. Quiet area just below Table Mountain. Great cafe on the corner, walking distance to CBD. Will be back.

A guesthouse with the little extra

We loved our stay at Abbey Manor, so much that just sitting on the plane back home, we decided we wanted to return to Abbey Manor in 2024. Exeptional service, friendly staff, great location, spledid breakfasts and amazing views of Table Mountain at this gem of Cape Town. The team excelled at their service, and a special thanks to Mico - that helped us with everything from booking restaurants and providing us tips and map instructions. A lovely rosé wine on the house and tasty chocolates on the pillow with little stories every evening. Just got to say one thing - if you go to Cape Town, you should book a stay here!

Ein rundum erholsamer Aufenthalt, angefangen beim Pool gleich nach dem Einchecken, dem sehr sauberen, grossen Zimmer, der ruhigen Lage oberhalb der Stadt und dann das ausgezeichnete Frühstück mit dem besten Omlett, das ich je gegessen habe. Der tägliche Kontakt und Austausch mit dem freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal macht es klar, ich komme bald wieder!

Diese familiengeführte Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wir waren dort vier Nächte und es war bezaubernd. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und in einem sehr gepflegtem und sauberem Zustand. Auch die Betten, welche auf Reisen doch meist zu wünschen übrig lassen, waren bequem und zum Wohlfühlen. Nach einem sehr leckeren Frühstück mit Blick auf die Berge und Kapstadt, erreicht man seine Ziele wie Tafelberg, Waterfront etc. in nur wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto. Der Inhaber und Manager haben uns zudem viele Tipps für Kapstadt gegeben (Deutsch/Englisch).

Beautiful but bit too far out

Beautiful Guesthouse in a nice area with great views ( on hill in front of Table Top Mountain) but we did get a bit fed up of having to taxi everywhere it also adds to the cost of your holiday and busy city stressful getting back sometimes.

Such a beautiful property in a terrific location just a short taxi or relaxed stroll to the Waterfront. Great breakfast selection every morning and such friendly and helpful staff... really really wonderful. We will be staying here whenever we're in Cape Town.

Beautiful Guesthouse

Beautiful guesthouse in Oranjezicht in Cape Town. It is a safe neighborhood, you can park the car outside of the hotel on the road. Its close to Table mountain and lions head. After a welcome drink you get very good information from the friendly staff where to go and what to do. They are happy to help you with reservations etc. We got a free upgrade and had a room with a nice balcony. The room was very pretty and clean and we also received a nice bottle of wine. Because nobody needed our room on the day we left, we could wait with the check-out until we left to the airport which was after 1pm.

I'll be back!

This is a beautiful historic home with period mouldings, chandeliers, Art deco fireplaces, and stained glass windows. The view outside my window was spectacular. The Inn's hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Very nice quiet and leafy neighborhood with easy access to downtown Capetown.

Schönes Guest House mit tollem Ausblick

Wir haben 4 Nächte im Abbey Manor in Zimmer 3 verbracht. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und hat einen fantastischen Ausblick. Aus der Badewanne, die am Fenster steht, kann man sehr schön die Stadt und die Berge beobachten. Der Service war sehr gut, das Frühstück war auch ordentlich.

Trevligt o rent hotell med familjär service men enligt mitt tycke tre stjärnigt på grund av väl gamla handdukar i badrummet. Ingen duch i anslutning till poolen, brödet var slut vid frukosten alla tre dagarna vi bodde där. Helt ok om jag betalt för tre stärnigt men ej för fem som dom har. Då blir man besviken.

Fantastic accommodation in Cape Town

Excellent facility. Conveniently located with spectacular views of Cape Town, Table Mountain, Lions Head and Devils Peak. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was great, even dealing very nicely with our late night arrival.

Magnificent turn-of-the-century Dutch Colonial set at the foot of Table Mountain overlooking historic Cape Town. Fabulous period details -parquet floors, tin ceilings, transoms, stained glass, 11' ceilings- throughout. Stayed four nights in luxurious original master bedroom in front, which came with an en suite balcony, and panoramic views of Cape Town, Table Mountain, and Lion's Head. The service was exceptional. Judi, the general manager, personally saw to our check-in, helped with our itinerary, served us wine on the rooftop terrace, and managed breakfast in the morning, which was sumptuous, and which was always served with a smile. Loved it. Would not hesitate to recommend it...

A Great Place to Stay!

The Abbey Manor was beautiful in every way! We were treated like royalty and the view from our room was fantastic! The manager was very helpful in finding things in the area to do. The breakfast was great and the whole stay was quiet and restful.
