"Great location for travelling through the area with good free parking immediately outside. Complementary coffee, water and cake in reception is a nice touch. Very close to a good service station with associated restaurant serving a nice rangebof meals at reasonable prices. The only issue ue we have is that the pillows in the bedrooms are not the most comfortable."

"Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very kind and helpful. Be aware of the road if you’re traveling from Lugano - the hotel is located up on the mountain and roads were pretty tight and steep curved turns for about 20-25 minutes."

Das beste war der direkte Zugang zum See. Liegen waren auch gut zu bekommen. Es geht zwar an den Liegen am See ein öffentlicher Weg vorbei, das aber kaum ein Problem ist. "We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel has a charming retro style, and while the rooms are a bit older, they are well maintained and have a lot of character. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. "The breakfast was very good but the on site restaurant for dinner was dreadful and wouldn’t go there again. The hotel itself and the staff were very friendly but didn’t expect a plastic bracelet round my wrist for the length of our stay! Would have preferred glasses in our room rather than very cheap plastic ones and would have liked the teas coffees and bottled water to be replaced each day - not worth the money we paid for a room of that standard"

"Beautiful room! Lovely private terrace. Amazing little "beach" to lay out and then jump in the refreshing lake. Breakfast is definitely worth the 15 euro fee. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - good onsite restaurant and close to everything you could possibly want. Pro Tip: Do NOT get this hotel confused with the Belvedere in Bellagio! Pay attention to the town this is in - Argegno! Not Bellagio!"

"This is a beautiful, elegant and unpretentious luxury resort & spa. The pools, grounds, spa & dining are immaculate! A five star experience. You must have a car and be comfortable driving swift back, narrow mountain roads to climb the 2,800 feet above Lake Lugano. Stunning!!"

"Had a wonderful stay. Staff very helpful. The panoramic view from the terrace of room 306 is amazing! We enjoyed staying away from the main touristy towns. Easy to get around on local bus with live updates on actual arrival time at your stop on your phone (rather than just timetable) really helpful. Free buses between Menaggio and Argegno after 7 pm during the summer months were an added bonus."
