"Love this place, just 2 minutes from the beach and a 25-minute walk to downtown Carmel. The staff are first class, with George in particular standing out. Our room was upgraded upon arrival and was beautifully decorated. The complimentary mini bar and snacks were a lovely surprise, and the breakfast was delicious. "

"The Normandy Inn was beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful..There was shops and restaurants within walking distance (less than 2 minutes). Limited visitor parking in parking lot but easy to park on the street. Less than 5 minutes from Carmel Beach."

"The location is unmatched, staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Rooms are cozy and views are gorgeous. 5 min drive from downtown Carmel. Carmel is one of the best places to bring a dog. BUDS, the restaurant in house, is phenomenal. The breakfast (included) is the best breakfast I’ve had. That alone would make me come back. "

"Everything was great. Small things could be better: In the room, "Heat" did nothing, but setting the Thermostat to 'cooling' actually switched the HEAT and fireplace on... (room 104). Also, it would be lovely if the top windows could be somehow covered like the patio ones - it gets super bright in the morning. But overall, great stay, one of the best in Carmel, and Parking is a big plus."

"Beautiful property. Like going to Europe without actually being there. Centrally located within walking distances of everything you’d want to see, visit or go eat at in Carmel. Of course, you have a Michelin star experience at the hotel as well in their restaurant. The attention to detail all around, including the staff and service, was impeccable "

"The bed was awesome. Fireplace super warm. The TV and movies available were both lacking. It would be nice to have a movie channel or even ability to access personal entertainment accounts. Iwould give 5 stars if they had that."

"The room was clean, staff friendly, spa area sweet. Walking distance to all restaurants, shops, and beach (if you want to walk the hill) The bar brought some extra midnight noise but if you don’t mind that, and are a hard sleeper, or in a room not next to it, you’re probably fine. Parking is tight "
