"Wonderful studio that overcame our expectations. Perfectly situated one step to the church and the ferry terminal. Madalena as such isn‘t spectacular, but a lovely little community. Very kind manager, easy to reach, no probs! Very pleased that it gave the possibility not to change towels every day and not to clean every day - eco responsible!"
"Excellent hotel in the center of the town. Rooms are rather small but okay. The lighting is not very bright. Equipment of the rooms are according to 4 star hotels. Excellent breakfast. Parking is available but it is better to have a small car. We would return anytime."

"We had a truly lovely stay at this charming guesthouse. The owner and her husband are without a doubt the sweetest people we met during our trip. On the morning of our departure, her husband even offered, completely on his own initiative, to drive us to the ferry. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days and deserves to be recognized.
The place itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout, with a beautiful common area...
"House is in quiet place, full of nature. I received a really big house, fine in the appearance, very clean and completely fournished. Comfort was at top and all was working perfectly. Also garden an swimming pool were very good.
Host was really polite and full of attention, providing an appetizing breakfast. If obly also some vegetables had been added, no possibility of improvement woulf have left!
Perhaps a car to reach is needed, but it is strongly recommended for a comfortably full immersion...
"It is little bit away from shopping and dining, about 10-15 minutes walk, but view to the city and Pico mountain is incredible. All rooms has a view. Very nice continental breakfast served in the restaurant. It is also open for dinner but we ate somewhere else."

The staff was very solicitous and the wine tasting in the cave was a really nice experience. The pool for the main rooms is indoor and lovely. The VIP rooms have their own small pools. "Tolles historisches Gebäude mit Flair. Wer auf Authentisches auf den Azoren Wert legt, ist hier richtig. Hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad und uns wohl gefühlt. Frühstück ist spartanisch, so wie es eben auf den Azoren genommen wird, dafür ist es inklusive. Die zum ehemaligen Kloster gehörige Kirche wird nur zum Gottesdienst geöffnet, ist sehenswert. "
