When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. "Stunning views and location. Easy access to the hustle and bustle of Oban. The pub downstairs was lovely. Really friendly staff too and great food. Our beds were comfy and the room was a sufficient size. Access to a communical kitchen was great to prepare breakfast and you could also buy continental breakfast provisions (including gluten free options)."

"The Ronebhal Guest House was amazing from the view out our room window to the wonderful shower!! There were many special touches too, like bathrobes and snacks. We even saw seals and otters out the window while enjoying a little scotch and were able to sleep so well!! Additionally, the owners were so sweet!! We would definitely stay there anytime we are in the area!!"

"The hotel was okay no elevator. Pillows were hard and the beds uncomfortable. The bathroom door would creek when you open it . No A/C but I knew that before I booked it. We did have a fan in the room but it was so hot the fan did nothing. The breakfast was very nice as well as the service from the staff . Very close to the shops ."

"This was a lovely and unique experience. The hotel is just a few miles outside Oban but we felt like we were far away, in the beautiful Scottish countryside. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the room was quiet and comfortable. We ate at both restaurants and had superior meals every time. They had live music from a local trio one evening in the lounge and they were absolutely delightful! We highly recommend this lovely place!"

"Room was terrible, drab, boring, paint peeling, shower screen old and needing replaced, actual shower average. Bed was we're sure a queen. Only decent thing was breakfast. But this was definately the worst hotel we've stayed in, will not be back."

Breakfast was delicious, we also had dinner there and it was wonderful, other than they did not cook my steak correctly, but they took it off the bill, which is great customer service."

"The pictures on Expedia were misleading. The check in went smoothly, however, we ultimately decided to leave and forgo staying. There were many people checking in so it appeared quite popular. The cost, given what other, nicer hotels in the area were charging, we decided to leave. My smell was of older place and my eyes were itching so we didn’t feel it was a good match for us."
