Great location and easy parking. It's very loud at nighttime being directly above the bar/lounge. I brought a sound machine with and it was still ridiculously loud. Aside from that, great area in the town and nice spot for venturing out on day trips.

Nice stay at this pub. Beds were clean and comfortable. Right in the town so easy access to everything. Slightly noisy at pub closing time. Pub doesn’t do food but recommend the Butterbean down the street. Overall nice one night stay for 2 adults and 2 kids

The inn is located in the town of Carndonagh, the floor above a pub. Note that there is no elevator. Our room was small but with a good size bathroom. Newly renovated and very clean. Bed was quite comfortable. Parking is ample and free. There is no food at the pub but recommend Butterbean or the Diamond Cafe for breakfast. The pictures on Expedia show Joyce’s Inn and pub as well as the coastline (which you need to drive to) and the Ballyliffin lodge - a more upscale hotel. Guests can use the amenities at the lodge. We had dinner there one night and the restaurant was excellent, and right on the coast. It is 15 minutes away. Joyce’s is great value for the money and I would choose it again for a comfortable, safe, clean, well-priced stay. Note that being above the pub means music until 1 am on weekends. Recommendation to Joyce’s - hooks and towel bars in the bathroom would be a small but impactful improvement. Overall a great stay in beautiful Donegal.

It was a lovely room and nice and quiet as no music on in pub below. Really good for the price we paid. Twin room had two super king beds. Only downside was water wasn’t warm enough for a shower in the morning. Apart from that it was all good.

Very clean room, modern, comfy beds and lovely fluffy towels. Only downside is the noise outside which really has nothing to do with the rooms, but apart from that it was lovely. Added bonus to be able to use the ballyliffin leisure facilities. Great wee find

Rooms are perfect and big enough! Great location and when we checked in they told me that a local restaurant would be great for a meal. They weren’t wrong as it was a lovely restaurant and great food! All in all a perfect location to visit Inishowen

Fuss-free stay in Carndonagh

No fuss, no frills accommodation, exactly what was required for our stay. Very large, comfortable beds, easy check-in and out from friendly staff. Full use of excellent gym, pool and all facilities at nearby Ballyliffin Lodge. Ample free parking on High St. Would recommend and re-visit.
