Hotels near Carnegie Station, Melbourne

"A pretty decent place especially for longer vacations. The hotel’s location is excellent with just a short walk to the train and tram stations and the centre of the cbd is just one stop away. The hotel’s facilities are a bit tired but it’s kept running smoothly. The housekeeping is good, consistent and thorough even though there’s no housekeeping over the weekends and public holidays. Any extra things that were needed for the kitchen or for the room were provided immediately. I was a bit surprised that the safe in the room can only be used with a deposit payment. The few drawers beneath the safe shelf were kept locked up for some reason and could not be accessed either. The hotel is located right across the Royal Botanical Gardens, which is one of Melbourne’s top tourist attractions and so it’s a bonus. There are some decent cafes around the hotel and more eateries on the street right behind the hotel. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay and the location of the hotel especially was fantastic!!"

"Room was poky and unfortunately quite dirty. Stained carpet, unpatched walls, bed was not very comfy, very noisy street interrupted sleep. Tv remote didn’t work so couldn’t watch the footy through hdmi. Bathroom was modern."

"We stayed bin room 209, there was a loud drone happening throughout the night and as late as 5:30 am. We didn't have a chance to mention it to the front desk. Was odd as we have stayed here several times and never had a issue."

"Really liked the layout of the room with the large dressing area off the bsthroom. Comfortable beds and very ample breakfast. Would definitely stay again"

"My service was woeful they gave me my room excess early only to find beds not cleaned then got offered another room then they lost food items in first room then the air/con wasn’t working only to be controlled by reception and to top it off locked out of room while trying to pack car then the access card wouldn’t work and the excuse was the door battery was flat"

"Room was clean and tidy just the bathroom sink was cracked apart from that was a great stay .safe parking for $20 per night"
