"The location, made it easy to enjoy the area. Check-in and check-out were both completely stress-free.
The restaurant on-site was excellent with great choices. Breakfast was warm and plentiful.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from start to finish — from the front desk at check-in, to the restaurant waitstaff, and even at the beach bar. Special mention to Melissa at the beach bar, who was especially friendly and welcoming.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great service, great food, and a convenient location."
"We had a lovely 1st floor room with a patio that opens up to a grassy area, a quick scramble down a few rocks to a mini beach. The view was fantastic, the staff friendly, and the lobby looked high-end for the money. There was also an unexpected hot tub outdoors with a view. We were happy with our stay."
"The property is a little older, but it felt like an excellent value. We had a spacious room with a balcony and a view of the beach and bridge for what I thought was a very reasonable price."
"The view was beautiful. The rooms were clean. It’s just the staff that needed help. They seemed very disorganized. When we checked out, we took the ferry. They explained they would deliver our bags for us. Which they did, but they were marked for St Ignes and not our actual destination- Mackinac city. My husband and I both were very clear on Mackinac city as they asked twice. But they still sent them to the wrong destination. One of the bags that they delivered they tied so tight with a knot that it ruined the bag. I couldn’t get it open my husband and I tried everything and had to cut the bag open. We stayed for two nights. We got a knock on the door on the first day and they’d ask what our name was because we weren’t even registered to the room. Yet we had checked in… And then also we had opened the windows for fresh air, and as we opened them, the screen fell out of the window. We were on the fourth floor with two children. This to us was very concerning. The views are beautiful. You can smell how fresh the carpet is as it was just remodeled. All that part of the stay was great. Again the staff is just very disorganized."
