"The room was not clean. We had to clean the toilet and toilet bowl lid prior to using due to very nasty. There was nicotine running down the walls instead of being cleaned even though it was a smoking room. The provided shampoo and conditioner were empty. Stained sheets where you lay like someone bled on the sheet and they failed to dispose of it. All in all just a very bad experience in this room. Our first stay was a very clean room and was satisfactory however this was the total opposite"
"We needed a room close to Wayne NE & this place in Norfolk was perfect for us. Room was very clean, my husband didn’t feel the bed was very comfortable(compared to a higher end hotel), the indoor pool was nice/clean & the staff was pleasant & helpful. Breakfast ( included) was basic for a hotel. A plus for us was a Mexican restaurant (Michael’s) right across the street. If, we were to ever need a hotel in Norfolk we would most likely stay there."
"Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The man at the desk was a veteran, as is my husband. He told us that the local VFW was among the best places in town for dinner, and we happened to be there on “taco night.” The food and camaraderie were very nice. The breakfast was the usual eggs, bacon and sausage."
"The room had dead mosquitoes smashed in the wall is 4 places. The last persons room receipt was still in the window seal which makes me wonder cleanliness of the room. The sink drained really slow."
"From the moment we arrived with our big crew the staff were helpful, kind, and accommodating. I have stayed at a lot of hotels, lots & lots, and this will stay with me as one of the best."
"The room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, one beds sheets were stained pinkish red on every layer. I selected pay at the property and I was charged before my arrival, checkout was listed in the front lobby at 11am, I was awoken by a staff member at 10am asking if I was checking out soon.
Rooms could most definitely be cleaner and I feel like room checks should start no earlier than maybe 30 minutes before check out. Also, disclosing that the charge will appear before arrival regardless of what option you choose would be more upfront."
