"The property was older than I expected, but it was very clean and the host was available whenever I needed anything. Having the refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room was very convenient. I would definitely stay again."
"We have stayed here before and really liked it. Found out it is under new ownership but everything was just as great as it was previously. I always recommend The Lodge to friends looking for a clean, friendly place to stay. Ask for a room off the back patio, we sat out there in the evenings. They have a great pool as well. Very family-friendly."
"The cabin had a rustic woodsy vibe a perfect fit surrounded by Oaks. A cozy semi private porch gives a comanding stellar view of the lake and the tree at sweet D has tiny birds that come down and beg ya to feed them. The room was very clean well stocked. The tv could use a sound bar and the couch and toilet both need a 6" lift kit. Way too low for bad knees. The shower would be better with a hand held unit. Last gripe, move the smoke detector. The toaster sets it off. Made me slop my coffee when it went off. But for the scenery, tranquility, the little birds and the price. It's worth the trip.

"1 night trip for a family of 5. We loved the pool, hot tub, and sauna. The front desk staff were extremely helpful in assisting us learn the trolley routes. The muffins and coffee were perfect for a quick breakfast on our way out of town.
