"The rooms have been remodeled and look like the pictures. They have very nice details & features, i.e. light fixture, sink, larger fridge. They have really spruced up what appeared to be an old property. It was very quiet & nice. It is right on the trolley route. The beds & pilliws were amazing and soft. I have trouble sleeping for more than 5 or 6 hours a night at home, but I slept a solid 10 hours on this overnight trip!! That alone was worth the trip. Check in is a breeze. You get a text with a link to do complete a pre check in form. Once you do that, you are sent a code & you can bypass the office, if you want."
"Our check in process was a little confusing and once we got to the property, we realized that we would have to carry our luggage up several flights of steep stairs which we were not made aware of. Once in the room, it was hot and remained 80 degrees for over 2 hours. I reached out to the owner and she graciously agreed to not charge us for our second night. Despite the offer, we decided to stay elsewhere our next night. However, the breakfast was absolutely amazing and the owner couldn't have been sweeter."
"Very dirty and not maintained. Pool was not useable. No hot tub. Room was musty and damp. Ceiling had rust stains and bathroom door was crumbling a part. Coffee pot was in the bathroom. No spa so not sure why that was in the description. Expedia rated this hotel high but read the actual reviews. They apparently always have problems with their pool, which if we had known we would not have booked this hotel. We chose it specifically because we are traveling with a child who wanted to swim, and she was left terribly disappointed and had to spend 2 nights in a yucky room. Would never stay here again."
"Staff were very good and breakfast was great. The room was alright. The blow dryer didn’t work but thankfully I had mine. I felt the carpet wasn’t as clean as it should have been but overall the price outweighed the slight inconvenience of the room itself. Yes I would stay there again. "
